Green Schools Action Day

On Friday 4th February, a lady called Lorraine Flanagan from An Taisce came to our school. We learned more about the water theme for Green Schools.

We are progressing towards getting our third green flag. We have to answer 12 questions in our project. so far we have completed 8. We hope to be ready for our assessment before Easter.

We are doing very well trying to save water for our school and we are also becoming more aware about using water in our homes. Mr. Kieran Jennings fitted our water butt at the back of the building. We will use this to water our garden later in the year.

We hope you will be able to save water in your homes too by following the tips in your water saving booklet.
